At PacePilates we find out that retreats can be a great thing to do when you want to have a break from a busy city life and even better if they can be combined with some exercises. We have done a number of cool retreats this year and we had 2 Irish models on one of them.
The Newgrange Retreat was a great example of city break, finding your inner self, super interesting workshop with Alison Canavan about nutrition and life balance! We had a lovely meditation session and enjoyed the nature.
Why retreats are good for you? Here are several reasons:
- Time for yourself. Yes, you can unwind and relax, have a walk as retreat places are carefully selected for your great relaxation experience and you can have a nice surroundings, like minded company and have time to think many things over.
- Time for your heath. You learn new things during workshops, have healthy food, do some exercises and walking.
- Inspiration. Being in the new surroundings brings new ideas and thoughts. You can get inspired from what you see, feel and also from meeting new people. New ideas will be flying around you! Catch them! Retreats are designed to spark your deepest inner flames and you will get a lot of positiveness too.
