Many of us are having an office jobs and sitting all day long including those days when we need to stay longer doesn’t make any good to our back. If you are the one who is experiencing back pain, this post is for you! Back pain is the second most common cause of missing work.
According to recent research eight out of ten people have back pain at some point in their lives. Just to let you know, a back pain that lasts more than three months is considered chronic. This causes discomfort not only in your office and professional life however also in your private space when the only thing you want to do evenings and weekends is laying down.
Chronic pain is becoming more and more common in people with office jobs. In fact, people who work in offices are more likely to suffer from chronic back pain than people who have a physically demanding job! The three most common causes of back pain are:
- Slouching forward in your chair
2. Holding your telephone between your ear and your shoulder
3. Lack of movement during the work day
Taking all this into account, I have prepared several videos that takes less than you can imagine in terms of time and more than you can only guess in terms of efficiency in fighting back pain that you already suffer. They may also be used to prevent back pain. Ideally, take 10 minutes a day to do all of them. In case you won’t cope finding time for all, make sure you do this one:
This one is the easiest of all and suits for everyone. Start from 1 minute and gradually increase to 5 minutes a day. That’s it and you will feel like never before. The exercise was “tested” on several clients of mine as well as myself and has shown significant results in back pain relief.
Other great exercises to do are shown in the video below.
I encourage you to combine both for the best results. Be persistent in you will see how much things improved in just a month!
Do let me know if any questions.
