Pilates is good for everyone! No news about that. The best advice will be the earlier you start the more benefits you get!

Pilates for children – the perfect solution for physical activity that can not only solve the problems relating to the musculo-skeletal system, but also to prevent their occurrence. However, what parents should start and what you need to choose a set of exercises? The best option is to let professional Pilates instructor take care of this side and it also won’t harm parents joining the class together with kids as Pilates is great for everyone.

What would be Pilates influencing on? Firstly, on the musculo-skeletal system, especially in the spinal department. Pilates for children gently effects muscular frame, strengthening it, has a positive effect on the formation and maintenance of posture. Secondly, the respiratory system, which in turn affects the circulatory and nervous system. In fact, using Pilates, parents can gently adjust both the physical and mental state of their kid, which is especially important in the conditions of the growing problems of obesity and hyperactivity in children.

Also, getting in the same class with your kids will help to build a common activity participation 🙂 You will show you like to do same things and get benefit for both sides!
There are many reasons for doing Fitness Pilates:

  • longer, leaner muscles (less bulk, more freedom of movement)
  • improvement if postural problems
  • increase in core strength, stability and peripheral mobility
  • help in preventing injury
  • enhancing functional fitness, ease of movement
  • balance strength & flexibility
  • heighten body awareness
  • no-impact, easy on the joints
  • customization that suits everyone from rehab patients to elite athletes
  • Improvement in performance in sports (golf, running, triathlon, skiing, skating etc.)
  • Improvement in balance, coordination & circulation
  • Weight loss
  • Body toning
  • Improved coordination
  • Improved mood
  • Gained greater confidence
  • Metabolism boost
  • Your body awareness
  • Full body workout at your pace

And you can double or even triple effect for the exercise on kids!

In our busy life we barely find time to do some sports ourselves however never think on involving our kids. Think twice! Being a Pilates instructor I always neglected bringing my kid to the class as I was thinking that she has enough of activities however one day I was walking to pick her up from school and I started thinking if the sports activities she is involved in at school are as good as Pilates class. And that’s what I have decided to check 🙂 I brought her once to class and she was extremely excited to get involved in the exrcises and since then I do use every oportunity to do Pilates with her and we also started Pilates classes for kids.
